Originated in the 1895 as the Northamptonshire League. Two divisionsspasmodically. Renamed United Counties in 1934
One division 1934-5 to 1949-50
Two divisions (one and two) 1950-51 to 1967-68
Three divisions (one, two and three) 1968-89 to 1971-72
Three divisions (premier, one and two) 1972-73 to 1979-80
In 1980-81 the third division (two) became the reserve division.
